Highchair Happy

Hi Ho Cheerio

As some of might have read on Kevin's facebook, Harper had Cheerios for the first time this week. As with all foods, she LOVES them.

Here she is, enjoying her new found addiction.

A Christmas Robber

Now that we have a little one in the house, it's time for an Advent calendar. I always loved advent calendars growing up. My grandma's had them at their houses and they would buy the little candy ones for us to have at home. I just love them!

Well, this year's advent is more Kevin's style. But it's a great way to get him as excited about them as I am. The lego calendar has a little mini figure or lego piece that you put together for each day and then on Christmas you will have an entire city.

He and Harper opened the 1st box yesterday and can you guess what lego mini figure it was? A robber! Yes, a Christmas robber.

Weird.

She's a good helper.

Nothing says the "Merry Christmas", like a masked criminal!

Have Yourself a Cowboy Christmas

Can you guess who is in charge of hanging our Christmas lights? I'll give you a hint: it isn't me or Harper.

Go Pokes!

Young Jedi

Harper has learned how light sabers work.

I mean, seriously, could we have timed a more perfect sneeze?!?!

Gobble Gobble

I know that today is the 2nd of December and I am just now posting about Thanksgiving, but I have a good reason. Our internet has been all out of sorts and we just got it fixed yesterday. So as you might imagine, loading this many pictures was an absolute nightmare back when the internet was sketchy.

So here we go, Harper's first Thanksgiving! Gobble it up!

Waiting patiently on lunch.

Playing with her cousins and watching the Macy's parade.

Harper also did a lot of licking the dog's face. Oh wait, maybe it's the other way around.

What a cute Cousin! Sweet Avery.

Harper even had her own special spoon from Nana.

Harper's first turkey

Oh, I think I might be interested in this .

Yep, I like it.

She was quite content with a full belly .

Sharing some turkey with cousin Hannie.

 Harper is thankful for turkey.

Now for a round of "Pass the Baby!"

 Looks like Taylor lost

And now it's time to check out papa and his mustache.

Always has her eyes on her daddy!

Harper loved her first Turkey Day!

Now on to Christmas.....

~

At least we tried....

I wanted to turn Harper's handprint into a turkey for her first Thanksgiving.

Well, turns out Harper doesn't like crafts.

Sentimental

Now that Thanksgiving is gone (pictures coming soon) and Christmas is upon us, it's time to throw out the pumpkins. But there is one little pumpkin that I cannot bring myself to get rid of.....

This was the pumpkin of Harper's eye and I can't let it go.

Does anyone have any pumpkin-Christmas-ornament ideas?

Escape!

There is someone in our house who doesn't like to have her diaper changed. She uses every opportunity to escape. But she always waits until she is naked to make a run for it. Makes for a more dramatic escape.

Happy Belated "Month"day

Well, Harper turned 8 months almost two weeks ago. I've had these pictures for a week. I am a slow blogger these days.

But here she is, in all her 8 month glory. Long gone are the laying still while mama takes pictures each month. Now I have a mobile, wiggly, and hyper baby that doesn't sit still for anyone!

See those teeth! They won't be alone for long.

You want me to sit still? Hah!

Into everything!

In her eigth month, Harper weighs 18.5 pounds, she crawls, dances, feeds herself, stands up, waves, says 'mamamamamama', 'dadadadadada', & 'bababababab', is still just so darn cute!
