Swimmy
Harper got a little blow up pool this week. We put on her swimsuit and water shoes, lather up with sunscreen and started blowin' that sucker up!
She thought it was a great new place to put her toys. However, she also thought that there was more padding on the bottom and dove right in.
Belly flop!
Once we got outside and she realized that we actually put water in it...whoa! That was so much better!
Unfortuneatly I did not check my camera setting and just snapped away! The sun washed out all of my pictures and I had to edit them without color for you to be able to see anything.
I apologize and vow to have color photos of the little swimmer soon...

One of the many reasons....
We love our sweet babysitter Miss Julie. She loves Harper and Harper LOVES her and her son Solomon.
When Kevin had his hernia surgery this week, Julie kept Harper while we were at the hospital.
They had arts & crafts time that day and Harper made this adorable Get Well card for her daddy.
We used it to top the stack of books and magazines that we bought to entertain Kevin while he's down.
Who does arts & crafts time with a 14 month old?!? A blessing that we are so thankful for, that's who!

Lost her trousers
This is what happens when we don't put pants or bloomers on Harper.
She finds a way to get her diaper off.

Afternoon Sun
Harper played hard today! She fell asleep in about 10 seconds tonight. We spent a lot of time in the backyard today. This was our third time to go outside and Harper had a lot to look at.
Then, she watched Kevin wrestle with the dogs. She kept her distance.
Notice the crooked shorts, the sweaty/dog slobbered hair, the diaper hanging out the top of her shorts.
Now, the cows come. And please notice the grass all over her back from when she fell off her picnic table seat.
What a way to end the day! Covered in dirt, grass, sweat and slobber. Ready for a diaper change and a bath!
10 minutes
It's hard to really capture how much Harper moves in still photos. It's also hard to express it to you here on the blog. So I followed Harper around for 10 minutes today, snapping away. These photos are in the order in which they happened. And I tried to include everything.
1. She was putting a book in her trunk, taking it out, closing the lid, opening the lid, putting it in, taking it out, closing the lid, etc. While eating a snack.
2. Time to empty the blanket basket and drag some blankets across the floor.
3. Got the blanket on the chair, sit for a minute and take another bite.
4. Getting her drink while practicing her evil laugh with Daddy.
5. More evil laughing
6. Mama was sitting on the bench, so she should sit on the bench, while saying "hello, hello, hello" to her toy phone.
7. Back to her chair to hide under the blanket.
8. Now sliding off the chair to talk to Dog-Dog
9. And waller with Dog-Dog
10. Water break!
11. She convinced someone to give her another snack
12. Oh! She must rest while eating this snack!
And then we do it all over again.
This kid doesn't stop!!!

Another Alumni
Our oldest niece, Ashleigh, graduated from OSU this month. She will be teaching fourth grade math in Oklahoma City in the fall. Kudos for having a job before you graduate kiddo!
We all headed to Stillwater to watch her walk across the stage of Gallagher Iba. Her nana & papa were very proud to have another college grad in the family.
Little miss Harper was a trooper all day. She was quiet during the ceremony and convinced people to give her cheetos at the party.
Ashleigh is about to walk across. See the orange heels?
Accepting her diploma
The four Conley kids....Jordan is graduating high school this year, Taylor just finished his first year at TU, and Hannah will be a Junior next year...... (Tear)

Visiting Gramma & Pops
A few weeks ago, we spent the weekend at Kevin's folks' in Norman. We went to the Oklahoma City zoo with Pops, Gramma, Lindsay, and her boyfriend Josh. As I've said before, we love zoos.
Checkin' out the goats with Pops
A zoo full of animals and we watch the catfish in the pond!
A big girl at the playground
Harper's current favorite hobby: sliding
Aunt Lindsay found a giraffe we can reach.
Trying to get the gorilla's attention. It didn't work. What he doesn't realize is that he was ignoring a member of his family....seeing as how Harper is part monkey and all.
After the zoo, Harper enjoyed the slide in Pops & Gramma's backyard.
She enjoyed it for real!
