 At Harper's birthday, we had a "photo booth" set up for Harper's guests to have their picture taken...with or without Harper, depending on her proximity and mood ;)

We will let Jordan introduce you to the photo booth, he seems so comfortable in front of the camera...

Look at these boxes!

Those boxes have big girl shoes in there. They have soles and velcro and everything!

This is the easiest pair to wear right now, they have the most flexile sole. And they are precious.

And then these are the show stoppers. Such a crowd pleaser.

It's amazing how the little things (like shoe shopping) become huge milestones when it has to do with your baby.

This is how Harper woke up on Friday. I don't have any idea how her hair got this way. And honestly, I am not sure how I got it back to normal. 

But this sums up what I believe about Harper...she is a mess!

Dear Harper is ONE

We had Harper's first birthday party last weekend. She was such a trooper! We found out the next day that she was coming down with Bronchitis. We knew her allergies had been making her sleepy but she was extra sleepy that day and we just assumed that she was a bit overwhelmed. But nonetheless, she opened lots of presents, ate her first cake and had lots of visitors. 

Her party was supposed to be deer themed, she loves deer and it was one of her first words. But it was quite a challenge to decorate with "cute" deer. So the theme kind of dwindled. And most importantly the birthday girl looked extra cute in her party dress, if I do say so myself.

She was such a delicate eater...and she is a girl after mama's own heart, only ate the icing. That's my girl!

She loved looking at her photos. Not sure when she'll let me take them down. It is amazing how she has grown!
